Paula Samaha
Certified Rolfer™, Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapist, ERYT 500 Yoga instructor
Through my work as a Rolfer™, Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapist and Yoga Instructor, my goal is to help my clients discover more length, space and ease in their body, relieve pain and tension, improve range of motion, calm the nervous system and create balance in the body and mind.
I received my Rolfing Structural Integration Certification from The Rolf Institute of Structural Integration in Boulder, Colorado. I studied Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy at the Colorado School of Energy Studies, and I am a Yoga Instructor with E-RYT certification and over 1000 hours of studies in teacher trainings, immersions and countless hours of personal practice.
I offer The Rolfing® Ten-Series, which is a systematic approach to free the structure, correct posture, release holding patterns and increase space in the joints. My sessions combine a blend of the two modalities (Rolfing and Craniosacral Therapy) that I have learned and found profoundly helpful in my own move toward health. I work to facilitate healing in what arises for the client in their body, mind and spirit in a safe, supportive environment. Trusting the bodies intelligence, it's self-healing and self-regulating forces that are within each and every being, is the lens through which I approach my work to evoke our resiliency and capacity to be fully engaged, creative, upright beings, as is our birthright. We have all experienced physical and emotional pain, to varying degrees in our lifetime, but this does not effect our true nature which remains untouched, albeit forgotten, always whole at the core of who we are. Our bodies just need help remembering this wholeness. Underneath the illusion of fragmentation is a healthy, vibrant potency that has the ability to reset us and bring us back into connection and joy.
I use both intuition and comprehensive formal training to provide the most appropriate and supportive service for each client. My work focuses on hydrating fascia, nerves, muscles, ligaments and tendons which are the components of the human bodies soft tissue system that support and move our skeletal structure.
I work with a calming and heartfelt presence; my touch is slow, mindful, deep, and intelligent with an intention to get rid of the adhesions in the soft tissue that prevent the body from performing efficiently.
I believe that through a combination of these holistic therapies we are given an exquisite opportunity to listen to our bodies, love and care for ourselves and discover our own path toward wellness.
